PTSD Coach

PTSD Coach Australia is a free mobile app developed specifically for Australian service men and women.
The app is used by thousands of current and former Australian Defence Force members around the world, and regularly receives excellent feedback about how it assists people with the management of their PTSD.

SOP Updates

At the meeting of 2 December 2015 the RMA:
Determined Statements of Principles (SOPs) for:
- Ischaemic heart disease 1/2016 2/2016
- Peritoneal adhesions 3/2016 4/2016
- External bruise 5/2016 6/2016
These SOPs revoke the SOPs previously determined for these conditions.
The above SOPs take effect from 25 January 2016.
The above determinations conclude the previously advertised investigations into:
- Ischaemic heart disease
- Peritoneal adhesions
- External bruise

Level 4 Advocate Refresher Course

TIP is planning to conduct one or two Level 4 Advocate Refresher courses in June 2016 to provide ESOs with the opportunity to allow their Level 4 Advocates to meet the requirements of VITA.
TIP has issued this call for ‘expressions of interest’ to open nominations for the courses.
1. Complete and return the expression of interest form (download here http://tinyurl.com/h8xobcd)
2. The number of expressions, and locations, will decide the venue and dates.
3. On attaining sufficient expressions of interest, TIP will send out nomination forms with venues and dates.
4. The course will be conducted in locations depending on nomination numbers.
5. Individual advocates, where numbers are low, can be transported and accommodated at an interstate location (with costs covered) where numbers allow.
